Good morning friends! There's so much to tell you about this week! We had a wonderful Friday evening gathering, with some new faces joining us “regulars” for social time and a meal together. It was a lively group, followed by a busy morning at the pantry. You'll see in one of the attached pictures, that we also had our Craft Gathering. Here, Debbie E is getting set up with Tina S's help. Debbie demonstrated some applique techniques needed to make beautiful wool fabric decorative pieces. As summer starts, some of our activities wind down a bit, and others gear up! I heard from our friend Jess R from Boston Area Gleaners at Stonefield Farm in Acton. Sometime in July, we should begin to be able to pick up boxes of produce each week. This is always an exciting time, when we never know what we'll be able to offer each week in our pantry produce bags, but it's always something fresh and local! BAG is having a special event on June 22 at the Farm (flyer att

Season to Taste: a new film by Bravingbird

"Season to Taste" explores the moments of disorientation we all face when life throws us a curveball or our expectations fall flat. It challenges the idea that there's a single, perfect recipe for happiness.  This beautiful new short film can be seen on the Bravingbird site  💕

Good morning friends! What a glorious weekend we were treated to 💕 Well, I managed to write three grants in three weeks, and now we just have to wait. I'm still looking for other opportunities, so if any of you are aware of grants that your place of business offer, will you please let me know? You won't have to do anything other than point me in the right direction or get me in touch with the right person! We received a lot of help over the last week, and there are some local businesses, churches, and civic organizations that I want to especially thank: VividCloud, AVS Inc, Little Bee Bookshop, Groton Rotary, Community Harvest Project, and Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. Also, many many many individuals and families pitched in last week, and we appreciate each and every one of you. Members of the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church came on Friday and ran the potluck meal for us. Andy fired up the grill, and we ate like royalty! Thank you all so much!
