Our local produce partners

We are so blessed to be partners with the Community Harvest Project (Mike) and the Boston Area Gleaners (Jess), as well as local gardeners at their homes and the Ayer Community Garden.  We also have some amazing volunteers and donors who pick up and deliver produce to us each week: Alison, Rich, Nicole, and Dawn.

Today, Sonja and I went to visit the orchard of the Community Harvest Project in Harvard MA.  It's a beautiful property, just filled with fruit trees in dozens and dozens of varieties. They had some beautiful asparagus that they've been harvesting daily, and some of it will end up in our pantry bags this Saturday!

Here is an article about the rise in food insecurity in our area. Between March and April of 2023, we saw a 660% rise in new guests at our pantry. No, that is not a misprint.
